Diamante Group and Rosatom create joint venture for mining in Brazil

NBEPar, the nuclear company of the Diamante group, and Uranium One Group, from the Russian state-owned Rosatom, signed an agreement to establish the joint venture Nadina Minerals, focused on discovering and exploring new uranium deposits and other critical minerals in Brazil.

Brazil aims to strengthen its position in the critical minerals sphere with the advanced technology of Uranium One, one of the world leaders in uranium mining, with extensive experience in projects in Kazakhstan, Namibia, and Tanzania.

Rosatom has already proven to be a reliable partner for Brazil, supplying enriched uranium to the Angra nuclear plant, assisting in the processing of Brazilian uranium, and ranking first in the supply of isotope products for Brazilian nuclear medicine.
